A Fantastic Historical Adventure Series

I started with Glen Wiley’s first book, The Royalist, and quickly fell in love with the adventures of Henry Darcy. He’s a wonderfully crafted character, and his journey pulled me right in from the start.
I was excited to continue the story in Cromwell’s Reign, and it did not disappoint. Wiley delivers another compelling blend of historical detail, adventure, and strong storytelling. The pacing is excellent, the world feels vivid, and Henry’s challenges are as gripping as ever.
Both books are truly enjoyable reads. If you’re a fan of historical fiction with memorable characters and engaging action, you won’t be disappointed.

An excellent novel mixing history in Cromwells time with a fictional story. It provided an interesting plot and range of characters. After reading the novel I must go and understand more of these times.
